Promotion Events
A serie of one-day workshops (Road Shows) will be organised in several countries:
- Rome, Italy, 30 May 2006.
- Tel Aviv, Israel, 04 June 2006.
- Bremen, Germany, 08 June 2006.
- Madrid, Spain, 28 June 2006.
- Athens, Greece, (postponed to Autumn 2006).
The workshops will follow the same program including the following arguments:
- Wearable computing: 2010 roadmap;
- WearIT@Work project and take-up call;
- Presentations of the four Business Cases pilot applications;
- WearIT@Work Transferable technologies;
- Take-up Call: basic requirements and procedures.

The events will end with a session dedicated to questions. The Road Shows will be followed by a central event in Brussels or Zurich in the beginning of October, during which Questions & Answers and Brokerage sessions will be organised.
The expected participants to these events are:
- Industrial, governmental or research organisations whose working environments combine mobility with information or knowledge intensive tasks (besides the four application domains already considered in the project, examples are the construction business, logistics, transportation, surveillance, chemical or live-science laboratories, etc.);
- Technology providers which can offer advances wearable computing products (hardware, middleware or application level software);
- System integrators which can support the finalising and commercialising of the proposed technologies.
